Kingston Transit Riders — Our Voice

Privacy Policy

This isn't legal advice. It's a plain description of what this site collects, why, and what happens to it.

What we collect

  • Contact form. If you use the "Get in touch" form, we collect the name, email address, and message you provide, so we can read and respond to it. You can also email us directly instead, which works the same way any email does.
  • Aggregate page views through Cloudflare Web Analytics. No cookies, no fingerprinting, no cross-site tracking. This runs regardless of your cookie choice below.
  • If you accept cookies when asked, Google Analytics tracks your visit to help us understand what's working. Reject, and it won't run. You can change your answer any time from "Cookie preferences" in the footer.
  • We use Google Search Console to see how this site performs in Google Search results. It doesn't track visitors or set any cookies — it only shows us aggregate search data Google already collects on its own end.
  • Email signup. If you join the Kingston Transit Riders email list, we collect only the email address you provide. You have to check a box confirming you want updates before the form will submit, and we keep a record of when you signed up and the exact consent text you saw, in case we ever need to show that consent was given. Every email we send will include a working unsubscribe link.

What we don't do

  • No Google Fonts, no Meta Pixel, no chat widgets, no embedded social feeds.
  • No selling or sharing of any data with anyone, ever.
  • Google Analytics never loads before you've made a cookie choice.
  • No third-party analytics beyond Cloudflare Web Analytics and (with your consent) Google Analytics.

Your rights

If we hold data on you — for example, if you've joined the email list — you can ask what we have on file, or ask us to delete it, at any time. Contact [email protected].

Third parties

Cloudflare hosts this site and runs its cookieless analytics. Google Analytics runs only if you accept cookies. Google Search Console shows us aggregate search performance data, with no visitor tracking on our end. Resend handles the email list — its own privacy policy applies to that specific processing.
